This spacious lodge, crafted from local materials in the 1940s by the Drexel family, is rooted in a tradition of community recreation and relaxation. Sisters Stacey Eddy and Aaron Beadnell, along with their partners, Eric Henry and Thomas Beadnell, have returned the lodge to family ownership after many decades, and are bringing new life to 188 Bear Pond Road. Outdoors, you'll enjoy a landscaped area, complete with deck and handmade waterfall and pond, surrounded by the beautiful Adirondack scenery. Inside, the rustic timber and stonework of the interior has been lovingly restored. Featuring a spacious, open floor plan with cathedral ceilings, the lodge has two stone fireplaces, and a catering area. Refreshed with special touches--from the tree of life crowning the massive fireplace, the handcrafted wooden dance floor with bear trademark and wagon wheel chandelier, to the natural birchbark and birch tree painting decorating the bar--ADK Northwoods lodge is ready to enhance your experience.
